Michael J. Nester

Michael J. Nester, a founding member of Donovan Rose Nester, P.C. was born in East St. Louis, Illinois.  Michael continues the founding vision of DRNPC that was shared with other founding members Harold Donovan (1924 – 1994) and Dennis Rose (1947-2017); a vision that focuses on the client.   Of utmost importance is maintaining beneficial relationships with clients, community leaders, the bar and judiciary. 

Michael has years of experience in medical malpractice, professional liability, personal injury, products liability, class action and mass tort litigation.  His representation includes local health care systems and providers; local businesses and municipalities; and national/international corporations.  

Michael has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts in Illinois and Missouri, both at the trial and appellate levels.  He also is recognized as valuable local counsel, navigating national counsel through the ins and outs of the local jurisdictions in Southern Illinois.
